Euro food safety watchdog rejects Roundup GM cancer study

EFSA has rejected controversial research linking Monsanto’s herbicide Roundup and genetically modified (GM) maize with premature death.

EFSA  said that “the design, reporting, and analysis of the study […] are inadequate”.

Gilles Eric Seralini has published also in 2007 a study about GM corn MON 863 (produced by Monsanto), but also in this case EFSA has challenged the validity of his work.  In 2007 EFSA concluded that the study included “misleading results” and “that the article does not have valid scientific justification that could call into question the safety of maize MON 863” .

It seems to be a never-ending war between EFSA and Mr. Seralini!
