On 25th November I will be in Parma for a seminar about the Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 (or Food Information to consumer, FIC). The course is organised by JBT FoodTech. John Bean Technologies Corporation (JBT) is a leading global technology solutions provider to high-value segments of the food processing and air transportation industries. They design, manufacture, test and service technologically sophisticated systems and products for customers through JBT FoodTech and JBT AeroTech segments. The venue will be the beautiful Palazzo Soragna.
The course will examine the Regulation (EU) No. 1169/2011 in particular the main implementation problems and the changes introduced in the food labeling regime. Particular attention will be given to the labeling of allergens, nutritional information and indications of origin. The seminar is intended for quality assurance and regulatory manager in food companies, legal professionals, vets, food technologists, trade associations and competent authorities.
The language of the course will be Italian, but I remember to all readers that I can organise also English session and distance learning modules.
