Clarity

This is an article from my LinkedIn newsletter “Food in the Spotlight

“In a word deluged by irrelevant information, clarity is power”.

This is the powerful first line of 21 Lessons for the 21st Century, by Y. N. Harari.

The book is dense with thoughtful conversations and an essential guide to understanding the political and cultural challenges of our time, but the essence is in this short single sentence.

Uncluttered and unbiased thinking is the key to success in any field of human life.

No matter if you look at your business or personal life, my advice for you in 2025 is to define clear priorities, protect your time and mind from the overflow of useless inputs, and be aggressively intentional in pursuing what you want to achieve.

All the rest is background noise.

How can you find shelter from the noise and clear your thinking? That is up to you.

As you might have noticed from my non-working social media I found silence, peace, and connection in my beloved Alps. But when this is not possible, music, ten minutes of meditation, or a nice shower can create incredible breakthroughs and generate new ideas and resolutions.

Our new year resolution, at Food Law Latest and Food Orbit Experts, is to keep providing clear and actionable information and feedback to all our network and clients.

This is one the most influential food safety conferences in Europe and I will deliver a final keynote titled:

Horizon Scanning – Political changes and the possible impact on the food industry globally

Thanks to Federica Battaglia and Sarah Brown for this opportunity. I will do my best to offer you an insightful journey in the future of the food business, regulation, and technological transformation, in which I am deeply involved with Celerya.

The developing agenda will include also our co-founder in Food Orbit Experts, Dr. Bert Popping, speaking on “Allergens and the new CODEX risk assessments”, and our associate in ISEVEN Servizi, Paolo Brusutti, dealing with “Recycled packaging with food safety and why packaging standards are essential”, in a panel involving also ILIP S.r.l.
