– Pathogenic micro-organisms: Salmonella Typhimurium in frozen meat ball mass, following an official control on the market. Origin Lithuania, notification from Latvia;
– Pathogenic micro-organisms: too high count of Escherichia coli in live clams (Venus verrucosa), following an official control on the market. Origin Greece, notification from Italy.
– Mycotoxins: ochratoxin A in dried organi figs, following an official control on the market. Origin Turkey, notification from Germany.
– Allergens: undeclared milk ingredient in soft biscuit, following an official control on the market. Origin Poland, notification from Czech Republic;
– Biotoxins: Diarrhoeic Shellfish Poisoning (DSP) toxins – okadaic acid in frozen precooked mussels (Mytilus Galloprovincialis) , following an official control on the market. Origin Spain, notification from Italy.

Regarding border rejections we have, among the others, Salmonella in frozen ark clams from Vietnam, in frozen turkey meat preparation from Brazil, Salmonella spp. in fishmeal from Mauritania, in paan leaves from Bangladesh and in soybean meal from Argentina, Salmonella Lexington and Anatum in rape seed cake from Russia, Salmonella group C in frozen clams from Vietnam, aflatoxins in almonds from Australia, in groundnuts from Senegal, India (via Egypt) and Nicaragua, in chillies from India and in dried figs from Turkey, unauthorised placing on the market of cannend yanang leaves extract from Thailand, sulfamethazine unauthorised in flower comb honey from Turkey, Bacillus spp. in bean curd from China, endosulfan in yardlong beans from the Dominican Republic, carbendazim in fresh peppers from Turkey and in parboiled basmati rice from India, trimethoprim unauthorised in frozen tilapia fillets from Vietnam and phoxim in wheat gluten from China.
For food contact material we have only a border rejection for migration of chromium on steel strainers from China.
